12 PWDs in Bataan receive tri-wheelchairs

Latter-Day Saints Charities Philippines Inc. awards a total of 12 tri-wheelchairs to persons with disabilities in Bataan during the Celebration of International Day of PWDs held at La Vista Inland Resort in Balanga City. BALANGA CITY, Dec.7 (PIA) -- A total of 12 persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Bataan received tri-wheelchairs during the Celebration of International Day of PWDs. Photo courtesy of Coast Guard Station Subic SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Eleven passengers, including four children, were rescued Sunday morning off the coast of Cabangan, Zambales after their yacht stalled Saturday afternoon on the way back to the Subic Bay Freeport. The passengers, who were stranded in the sea for more than nine hours, were rescued by the tugboat MT Stanford that was dispatched here by the Malayan Towage and Salvage Corporation (SALVTUG) on request of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Wilma T. FIRE BURNS HISTORIC APEC VILLA LOBBY

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT - A fire razed the historic APEC Villa clubhouse, now called the Triboa Country Club, on the early morning of Monday, November 12 inside this premier Freeport. According to witnesses, the fire started at around 7:40am when they heard small explosions on the ceiling of the lobby. People inside the structure saw that the fire was starting, prompting them to escape the premises. SBMA fire officials, including DA Rani Cruz, rushed the scene and extinguished the fire. To the dismay of the company, the fire destroyed the lobby, sales office and show units. Important documents, office equipment, including the diorama that was a prominent centerpiece in the lobby were also destroyed. Luckily, nobody was injured. SBMA Chief Ranny Magno declared that the fire was under control at 8:45am, and later declared fire out at 9:26am
