Castillejos, Zambales- A thirty five year-old male was arrested by the Castillejos drug enforcement unit during a drug buy-bust in Barangay Del Pilar, here on Thursday night.
PC Insp. Rolando C. Dellezo, Castillejos Municipal Police Station's chief identified the arrested suspect as one Marvin Almayda y Caguian aka 'amben', jobless and a resident of Barangay Del Pilar.
According to the police report, 4 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance or otherwise known as Shabu were found inside a matchbox which was confiscated from Almayda during the police operation.
Criminal charges in accordance with R.A. 9165 are being prepared for filing against the suspect at the Provincial Prosecutors Office in Olongapo City.
Almayda was charged in 2017 for the same violation and was released eight months ago after he applied for a "plea bargain" and was granted by the judicial court. (Jay-Czar C. La Torre)
